John Winston Lennon a former member of The Beatles an american rock band formed in liverpool in 1960. Lennon rose to worldwide fame as one of commercially successfully and critically acclaimed act in the history of popular music . Marriage to Yoko Ono in 1969 and change his name to John Ono Lennon he quit to music business in 1975 to give time to his infant Sean, but he decided to back in 1980 with the new album Double Fantasy , He was murdered 3 weeks after it's released. Lennon revealed a rebellious nature & acerbic wit in his music, his drawing , his writing , on film and in interviews. He also known to his political and peace activism where he criticize the Vietnam War and some of her song adopted as a anthem of the anti-war movement.In 2008 Rolling Stone ranked him #5 greatest singer of all time . And as of 2012 Lennon solo album sales in the US exceed 14 million units. . .
